43km Partner Acceptable Use Policy

These guidelines are established to maintain a safe community for travellers and tour operators alike. Failure to comply with the terms of this policy can result in a temporary or permanent suspension, and remittances and payments may be withheld or forfeited.

Company name

Tour operators must sign up with 43km using a company name that the tour operator is properly registered under and regularly conducts business with. The tour operator must have the right to use this name and the name must not infringe on any trademark or rights of another person or organization.

Accurate representation of services provided

Tour operators must accurately represent themselves, their company, the services provided, and the payment terms. This includes ensuring all information appearing on the company profile page, offers made to travellers, and all communications with travellers is accurate and up-to-date.

Communications within 43km

Travellers and tour operators may communicate with each other using the built-in messaging service. Upon the confirmation of a booking and the payment of the deposit, travellers and tour operators may then exchange contact information in order to further discuss the details of the tour.

Attempts to divert travellers

Contacting users outside of the 43km website or application prior to a tour being booked is prohibited. This includes sharing contact information and encouraging travellers to do business directly, as well as tour operators complying with traveller-initiated requests for tours outside of 43km.

Manipulating the reviews system

The rating and feedback system allows travellers to evaluate the overall performance of tour operators, helping tour operators to develop a reputation within the 43km community. You may not post abusive or inappropriate feedback or include personal information about travellers. You may request feedback from travellers, however you may not pay or offer any incentive for providing feedback.

Disputes

Travellers and tour operators involved in a dispute should contact each other in order to resolve the dispute amicably. 43km has no obligation and will not be involved in resolving disputes. You release 43km from any claims, demands, and damages arising out of disputes with other travellers, tour operators, or parties.

Changes to services and suspension of accounts

43km reserves the right to modify or discontinue services at our sole discretion, without advance notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts (and any related accounts) and revoke access to all services. 43km may refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
